The project, which is financed by the Asian Development Bank, focuses on improving public transport services and infrastructure, with the goal of reducing greenhouse gas emissions and promoting environmentally friendly transportation options.

STAPATA works with key stakeholders in various Asian cities to develop and implement sustainable public transport solutions, such as bus rapid transit systems, non-motorized transport facilities, and clean energy technology for public transportation. By promoting eco-friendly and efficient transport options, the project aims to improve urban mobility, reduce traffic congestion, and enhance the overall quality of life in Asian cities. Through its comprehensive approach to sustainable urban transport, STAPATA strives to make cities more livable, environmentally friendly, and economically sustainable for future generations.
